There are many reasons why I love my grandma. She's quirky, knowledgeable, very loving, goofy, fun, wise, a good listener, generous.
She's also a crack up. Yesterday I get a birthday card from her with a check. Yes, I still get birthday cards and checks from her. (woo hoo!) This is what she says.
"Have a great day. Love you. You will always be special to me. How about going out and buying a bottle of wine and enjoy it while you say nice things about me. Ha."
Now that's my kinda woman. I wanna be like her when I grow up.
Tell me what you love about your grandma.

Well, my Grandma Hook died 13 years ago but what I loved about her was that we were always welcome in her home. I lived right next door and we spent many hours waiting for the school bus, eating m&ms, sitting in her air conditioned house when ours wasn't and just hanging out with her. She just loved us and I am so blessed to have grown up so close to her!
As for my Grandma Fuller (who is still alive), she has always been one to want me to be happy - she always made sure that I (picky eater that I was) had something to eat whenever we came for meals. She always has some goody to share when we are able to visit and she appreciates us coming - even though we don't get down there very often - and just makes me want to see her more...
